The Mimosa start to come out and the whole of the area is transformed with a yellow spray of Mimosa. Many of the nearby towns have festivals towards the end of January & in Febriary to celebrate the Mimosa.
There is a festival in Mandelieu La Napoule. As well as the village of Tanneron.
Even driving round the area the beautiful Mimosas are a wonderful sight. I suggest visiting Tanneron as well.
March is getting warmer but still quiet so a great time to explore the close by trains such as Grasse, St Tropez, Mougins, Monaco, Eze and many more...
Easter
Monaco - take the train to Monaco and soak up the atmosphere of the Grand Prix. Along with the F1 weekend there is also the E-Prix and on alternatie years a classic Grand Prix. Monaco is a perfect place to visit anytime of the year and easy on the train.
Summer is in full swing. The Lerins islands will be the perfect place to explore. Boats depart regularly from Cannes and you can choose to visit Île Sainte-Marguerite and Île Saint-Honorat. The Île Sainte-Marguerite held a fortress where the Man in the Iron Mask was held captive for a time.
Stay local! The house is just across the road from the beach and sea. You are able to hire kayaks and paddle boards from the camp site down the road and enjoy time in the sea!
Enjoy the sea! Take a private boat trip to Saint Tropez, islands of Lerins, the Calanques or Porquerolles with Les Bateaux Bleus from St Raphael or Agay.
